About the Nigerian Intellectual Property Club

The Nigerian Intellectual Property Club (NIPC) is the national association of student intellectual property enthusiasts, inventors and creators of intellectual property. 

Formally established on October 18, 2022, the NIPC provides a forum for IP enthusiasts and creators to network, learn and grow in the IP space by equipping members with relevant skills, experience and exposure for the 21st century booming creative space, through strategic local, national and international partnerships.

The association stays true to its aim of expanding the frontiers of intellectual property through the promotion of intellectual property within Nigeria and outside its shores.

As a national organisation, the association covers over 17 IP clubs in reputable tertiary institutions in the country and is committed to supporting the establishment of more, raising the bar in IP practice and providing the necessary tools to student enthusiasts who aspire to pursue successful careers in intellectual property.

Mission

The mission of the Nigerian Intellectual Property Club  is to ensure the integration of IP Clubs in Nigerian universities  into one National body.

The vision of the club is to be a unified body enlarging intellectual property jurisprudence in Nigeria
