MIPLG INTERNATIONAL DEBATE 2026
The MIPLG IP Tertiary Debate Competition is back again, bigger and better. The Competition brings together students from various tertiary institutions all over Africa, as well as IP Lawyers and IP enthusiasts in a rigorous competition where tertiary students engage in diverse topics related to intellectual property, its theory, practicality, and its application in real-life situations all over the world. This year’s competition stems from the theme “ The Athletes Brand: Balancing Image Rights, IP Law & Publicity in the Sports Industry,” where the focus is on Intellectual Property as a crucial aspect of the Sports Industry and Culture, and how Intellectual Property influences that area of life.
