On 13 December 2019, the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) published a call for comments and suggestions to help define the issues related to Intellectual Property (IP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based on a draft Issues Paper on IP Policy and AI.
According to WIPO, more than 250 submissions were received from a wide array of stakeholders from across the globe. These comments will be used to prepare a revised issues paper for discussion at the second session of the WIPO Conversation on IP and AI to be held in Geneva on 11 May 2020.
